Interviews on Cloud: Adam Wray, CEO of Basho
Today, we’re shining the ProfitBricks spotlight on Adam Wray, CEO of Basho. Basho is a company that “delivers highly available, scalable distributed systems that are easy to operate at enterprise scale for empowering applications to store and retrieve unstructured data and easily manage active data workloads.”
Basho is a young company, not even two years old, who’s rather impressively already established an enterprise filled customer base that includes the likes of Uber and State Farm, and has even grown their business to 100%. Their success can be attributed to setting up their business as one that can support enterprise level customers and by focusing their platform on things their customers want like key value and time series. The fact that they’re open source, supported by an active community, also helps Basho further their offerings whenever developers release new component pieces.
Watch the video to hear what Adam Wray has to say. Adam discusses exactly why he likes to come to Structure, what his company Basho has been up to, and what they will be doing in the future.
